I'm Getting Transferred?

Hey everyone! This last week of the transfer has been crazy. We made a few new friends which has been so fun! We also had the opportunity to go and play basketball this week at Laguna Beach. It was so fun! We played with this beach bum who had long blonde hair snd the whitest teeth you will ever see haha. We also got to go to the stance store in San Clemente. The owner gives us 50% off of everything for being missionaries. So I loaded up hahaha I got ace ventura socks, Darth Vader socks, Spiderman socks, and a sweat shirt and sweat pants.

A funny story that happened this week is when we were walking down this street and we met this lady who only spoke Spanish. We called the Spanish Elders and this lady just started to walk away from us. We started following her holding the phone out trying to have the Spanish elders talk to her. Let's just say she wasn't interested haha but u can only imagine what we looked like chasing this lady down the street holding out a phone hahaha.

On Saturday we had our ward Halloween party. There was so much Chilli! There was a DJ blasting thriller and the monster mash and everyone went all out with their costumes haha. We were in charge of some games with the other elders and gave out some prizes to the kids.

On Saturday we decided to skip lunch and have a two hour dinner at the promised land...Sgt Pepperoni's. I was having a great time about to dig into my Buffalo chicken pizza and all of a sudden I get a call from the APs saying that I'm being transferred. I have literally only been here for 4 weeks and I'm being transferred...WHAT?!?! So packed all weekend and hopefully I got everything hahaha so I will let you know next week where I go!

The spiritual thought for this week is Ether 12:27 and it has helped me through these past weeks. It says "27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them." I have definitely been humbled in these past two months. I know that if we have faith in the Savior, He will make us strong! Hope everyone has a great week!
