Sgt Pepperonis Lonely Hearts Club Band

Hey eveyone! This week has been awesome! We went to a pumpkin patch with our district and it brought me back to the good old days. The pumpkin patch wasn't at a farm but at a mall parking lot haha and it was 80 degrees so it wasn't your average day at the patch. I won some stuffed animals and truly stuck it to the man by winning some prizes on the rigged carnival games.


We also got the opportunity to go to The Cliff, which is a restaurant at Laguna Beach, with some of our friends that are awesome. It overlooks the beach and we got in right at sunset. That is now a core memory.


We had a great week of work and on Saturday we celebrated. We went to a pizza place called Sgt Pepperoni's Pizza. It's a great place with great pizza and arcade games, but the best part of that place is....TV! We went on Saturday night and we watched the Yankees Gaurdians game, the Utah USC game, the Padres Dodgers game, and WIPEOUT all at the same time! They also were playing all Beatles songs, and to put it simply I was in a state of bliss. It was all the elders in our zone and I don't think a word was said at dinner because everyone was so locked in on one of the four screens haha.


Now for a spiritual thought. A wise man by the name of John Lennon once said "It will all be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end." If we turn to Christ and submit to His will everything will always work out for the best no matter what. We just need to keep trying our best to become better every day and Christ won't ever abandon us! Love you all and hope you have a great week!

We're Gonna Need A Bigger Pole

Hey everyone! This week went by quick. Some cool things happened this week where 80 marines showed up to church yesterday and it was such a cool experience to be able to teach so many of them. We also put our friend Francisco, whose a marine, on date for baptism for December 9th. Our friend Isaiah is still solid and is getting baptized this Saturday. He shared with me that sometimes he doesn't want to come to church but he goes anyways, and he feels this peace that he has never felt before and he said that he knows that this church is true.  We usually do our calls and text on the San Clemente Pier, because it right by our apartment, and there are a lot of people fishing off the pier. So one night we were at the pier doing some phone calls and all of a sudden there's this teenaged kid running up and down the pier being drug by his pole. Oh Glory

Hey everyone! Hope your week was good! This week was crazy for me. We took our recent convert Rick to the hospital because he has an infection in his arm and it blew up like a balloon. His arm looked like the Pillsbury dough boy. Also, we found some really cool people who have been able to find out the Book of Mormon is true by themselves! Also yesterday an old friend that hasn't met with the missionaries in a little bit, met with us yesterday and said that she wants to get baptized! Her name is Sherry and her date is October 21st. Overall good week. This week I went on an exchange into a bike area. It is actually pretty fun being on bikes because it's good to get your blood pumping. I also learned how to ride with no hands during the exchange. But we were riding along the street and I stopped to talk to these people and I stepped off my bike pedal to stable myself. Out Of Place

Hey everyone! Hope your week was great. This week was a blur for me. Halloween came and went pretty fast and now it has already almost been a week. This week we had a halloween party for the YSA ward, we had MLC the day after, and went on an exchange with some Elders that are on bikes but the members gave them Ebikes, so overall pretty good week. Like I said, we had a Halloween party with the YSA ward. We weren't going to dress up, but the Sisters also serving in the ward said that everyone was dressing up and you need to dress up or else you will be lame. So we went to every halloween store near us during our dinner hour frantically searching for a costume to buy. We went to TJ Maxx and found some onesies. I got a Grinch one and my compainion got a minion. We bought them and went over to the church.
