Full Moon
Hey everyone!! Sorry I didn't send out an email last week. I was pretty busy on the links for my birthday. Thanks for all the love I received on my birthday you all are the best! But yeah it has been raining for two straight weeks. California has been pulling our legs this entire time because there us no way they are in a drought haha. I'm not complaining because I actually have been able to use my rain jacket. We got transfer news and Elder Larson is getting transferred but I'm staying and District leading and training a new missionary! I'm so hyped to train!
This week I went on an exchange with Elder Burton. It has been this continuing joke for the past three months that everytime I go into their area for an exchange we stop by this guy named Bill. He has an amazing testimony but he is one of the laziest people that I have ever met and it is like pulling teeth to get him to open his Scriptures haha. Everytime we leave his house I am physically drained because his laziness is contagious. So we went over for the 5th or 6th time and were trying to get him to read Ether 12. We finally got him to stand up and go get his Scriptures but the joke was on us. His pants were sagging so bad that he fully mooned us. When he stood up all Elder Burton said was "Oh" and we both just started dying. But we got him to read Ether 12. It wasn't pretty but we hot the job done.
This weeks spiritual thought comes from Isaiah 55:12
"12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands."
I know that if we keep Jesus Christ at the center of our lives, the world around us will become more and more beautiful. I know that Jesus Christ Lives.
Love you all!
