HAPPY NEW YEAR
Happy New Year everyone!!! Unfortunately I only got to 10:30 this year and didn't make it to midnight haha. But it has been a pretty eventful week. It rained!!!! I havent seen rain in a while haha it was so nice to put on a sweater and go walk around. We put our friend Amy on date for February 11th so that was pretty cool. We had some exchanges this week with some other Edlers which was super fun. I also had to speak yesterday. My one and only New Years resolution was to speak in church, so I guess I can just sit back and relax the rest of the year.
A funny story that happened this week was that we met an antichrist named Amil on the street. Beams of false doctrine started spewing out of his mouth and not going to lie it was testing my patience. After confounding him multiple times, his last point that he was trying to make was that he was older than us. He asked us "How old do you think I am?" Oof that was not a smart question to ask because I answered "I would guess 50" he was 35. He was as quiet as a church mouse after that haha.
The spiritual thought this week comes from 2 Nephi 33:6 and an exerpt from that verse is "I glory in my Jesus". Jesus' love for all of us is very individual and personal. We can choose to turn to Him and partake of that love that He feels for us. I invite you all to come closer to Jesus Christ this year and build that relationship so you can all honestly say that "I glory in "MY" Jesus".
Love you all and have a great week! Start the new year strong!!!
