Amy's Baptism!
Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a good superbowl sunday! I can't believe that it has already been a week. So much stuff has been going on. Our friend Amy got Baptized on Saturday and I was so lucky to be the one that baptized her! The spirtit was so strong and I could just feel the joy the Amy felt and the joy that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ felt. This week has been packed with service projects and lessons, and I have been loving it. By the end of the day we just collapse because of how tired we are haha.
This week we had a lesson with one of our friends and she has an insane dog. This dog will be bouncing off the walls for the entire lesson which is usually an hour long. So this time I tried to hold the dog. It was literally wrestle mania with me and Cowie (the dog). I'm not sure if anyone has tried to teach a lesson while having a dog in a full Nelson, but it's hard. I was trying to act like nothing was wrong and just went on with the lesson while I had Cowie in a scissor lock. Ok maybe I'm being dramatic but I think you get it haha.
This weeks spiritual thought is from Mosiah 3:5 which says "5 For behold, the time cometh, and is not far distant, that with power, the Lord Omnipotent who reigneth, who was, and is from all eternity to all eternity, shall come down from heaven among the children of men, and shall dwell in a tabernacle of clay"Jesus Christ did die for us and that is a vital point to remember always, but we have to remember that He lived for us too. He came down from his throne and dwelt among us. He lived a regular life and had friends and family that he loved. He had a job, and He celebrated with the people He cared about. Jesus is the most relatable person ever! If there is anyone that you should turn to when you are lonely, stressed, scared, or all of the above, Jesus Christ is the one you should turn to. I know that He overcame death for us and continues to live for us today. He loves us infinitely. He is the Savior and Redeemer of my soul. Have a great week!!!
