The Raid Of Ross

Hey everyone! Hope your week was good! This week was pretty busy, but it all payed off because two of our friends are on date to be baptized! I'm so excited and I'm so grateful to be apart of it. 


Every week on P day we go to Ross and we look for Stance socks that are super cheap. But the past few weeks we have gotten skunked until this week. This week I went home with 8 new pairs of stance socks, and the best part about it is that they are "Infinknit" which means that whenever they get worn out I can take them in and get a brand new pair for free. This means that I will never have to pay for socks ever again, even though I most likely will. But in theory my children, my children's children, and their children will never have you pay for socks in their life because of my sacrifice. You're welcome kids.


This weeks spiritual thought is about hope. In Moroni 7 verse 41 in the Book of Mormon it says this about hope "41 And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise." How can we have hope in Jesus Christ? It is through his sacrifice and his triumph over death is what can give us hope. No one who has, is, or ever will live on the Earth could not triumph over death. Jesus Christ is our only hope and the source of all hope. He is always there to give you this hope whenever you need it, so turn to Him. I know He lives. Have a great week!

Hey everyone! This week went by quick. Some cool things happened this week where 80 marines showed up to church yesterday and it was such a cool experience to be able to teach so many of them. We also put our friend Francisco, whose a marine, on date for baptism for December 9th. Our friend Isaiah is still solid and is getting baptized this Saturday. He shared with me that sometimes he doesn't want to come to church but he goes anyways, and he feels this peace that he has never felt before and he said that he knows that this church is true.  We usually do our calls and text on the San Clemente Pier, because it right by our apartment, and there are a lot of people fishing off the pier. So one night we were at the pier doing some phone calls and all of a sudden there's this teenaged kid running up and down the pier being drug by his pole. Oh Glory

Hey everyone! Hope your week was good! This week was crazy for me. We took our recent convert Rick to the hospital because he has an infection in his arm and it blew up like a balloon. His arm looked like the Pillsbury dough boy. Also, we found some really cool people who have been able to find out the Book of Mormon is true by themselves! Also yesterday an old friend that hasn't met with the missionaries in a little bit, met with us yesterday and said that she wants to get baptized! Her name is Sherry and her date is October 21st. Overall good week. This week I went on an exchange into a bike area. It is actually pretty fun being on bikes because it's good to get your blood pumping. I also learned how to ride with no hands during the exchange. But we were riding along the street and I stopped to talk to these people and I stepped off my bike pedal to stable myself. Out Of Place

Hey everyone! Hope your week was great. This week was a blur for me. Halloween came and went pretty fast and now it has already almost been a week. This week we had a halloween party for the YSA ward, we had MLC the day after, and went on an exchange with some Elders that are on bikes but the members gave them Ebikes, so overall pretty good week. Like I said, we had a Halloween party with the YSA ward. We weren't going to dress up, but the Sisters also serving in the ward said that everyone was dressing up and you need to dress up or else you will be lame. So we went to every halloween store near us during our dinner hour frantically searching for a costume to buy. We went to TJ Maxx and found some onesies. I got a Grinch one and my compainion got a minion. We bought them and went over to the church.
