Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a spectacular week! The first half of this week was rainy but the last half was really nice. It was good to see Mr. Bluesky again. This week our friend Ben accepted baptismal date. He was on date a few weeks ago but he fell off because he felt it was too fast. This week he came to us and said that he feels really good about being baptized now and he is getting baptized on May 6th!! So this week we I was on an exchange with another Elder in my district and we were talking to this girl who was acting super interested in what we had to share. We were hitting her with beams of restored truth and the spirit was there and everything. So we asked if we could have her number so we could contact her to find a good time to meet. So she gives her the number and I say "I'll just give you a call so you have our number" and as I'm pressing the button she goes "Oh you really don't have to...." and then all of a sudden the robot voice-mai...

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a good week. This week was pretty rainy again, what the heck! We did have sunny spots throughout the week and I managed to get a little sunburnt. So this week we went on campus and we have the students play cornhole. They get 8 chances to make it in the hole and win a donut. So I am the one who kind of runs the game and hypes people up when they make it or get close. So this girl comes and wants to play so I get her the bean bags and I start handing them to her. She starts getting closer and closer and so I keep cheering her on. She finally makes it and she turns to me and says quote "I'm kicking your trash!" close quote. I then paused from celebrating and said "What?" And she then said "You didn't even have a chance!" And I was like "Yeah you're right, in fact I didn't even play." Hey everyone!!! Hope everyone had a good week! Our P Day was on Tuesday this week because we had the opportunity to go to the temple. This past week was pretty normal. We had zone conference and I got to see some missionaries that I hadn't seen in a while which was fun. And it has been really rainy the past week so yeah if anyone tells you that California is in a drought they are lying to you because it has been raining so much lately. But there wasn't really anything too spectacular other than Daylight savings absolutely destroying me and me walking extra slow by the movie theatre to catch a glimpse of a Creed 3 poster. Hey everyone! Hope you had a great week. This week I picked up a new missionary and his name is Elder Penny. He is from Canada and he is super awesome. Other than that it's been a pretty regular week haha.  Every month on the first Sunday, our mission puts on a music devotional at the stake center right across the street from the temple. We got the opportunity to usher at this music devotional. Apparently it's a very big deal to usher and it is a lot more complicated than it seems. The "Lead Usher" was a guy from the local ward and he was explaining everything that we needed to do and then he said that after the opening prayer but before the first musical number we needed to open the curtain divider into the overflow area. I then asked him "What if the curtain gets caught?" He then chuckled and said "Yeah that's not going to happen." So, taking his word for it I didn't worry about it. But right after the prayer I started pulling the curtain...
