Webbed Up

Hey everyone!!! Hope everyone's week was good! This week was pretty good for us, we have been meeting some really cool people and we have had the opportunity to teach a lot of people. It is so cool how God guides people to truth that are actively seeking.

This week we were knocking on doors and I was walking side by side with my companion to the next door and in california at this time of year there is a ton of Spiders everywhere for some reason. So I was walking with my head down and all of a sudden my companion yells "Spider" and grabs the back of my shirt. I thought there was a spider on my back so I started running forward to get away from the spider, but what my companion was trying to do was yank me back because I was about to walk into a spider on its web. So as I started running forward and I ran into the spider and its web, who was sitting at eye level and I felt the Spider hit my forhead. I started freaking out and was acting like a mad man trying to get the spider and its web off. After I caught my breath and the mix of adrenalin, shock, and the fear of God that was in me wore off we saw a lady that was on her porch, and she had witnessed the whole thing. She was laughing pretty hard but we were able to teach her about the Book of Mormon and we set a return appointment. Jesus Christ makes things perfect even when he has to work with a spaz like me.

This weeks spiritual thought is from Luke 15:4-7 it says "4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance." There is no place that we can hide, no hole to deep, and no past too dark to keep us from the love of our Savior and our loving Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is relentless and will not stop trying to find us and get us home safely. We have the power to make it easier for Him if we come to Him. I know He lives!!! Have a great week!
