MC Prabakah
Hey everyone! Hope everyone's week went well. Mine did, our friend Isaiah got baptized! It was such a cool experience. He got baptized and after he bore the most powerful testimony that he knows that this is the church of Jesus Christ and that the Book of Mormon is true. I have been able to see more and more that this is truly God's work and I am so grateful for Him letting me tag along for the ride.
This week we went on an exchange and I went into another area. We had a lesson with a guy at the church, and we invited a member named Prabakah to join, but he couldn't come in person so he joined over the phone. We read some Scriptures and started talking and asking questions. We had a great conversation about having faith in Jesus Christ for 45 minutes. To be honest we totally forgot that Prabakah was on the call. Towards the end of this spirit filled conversation, the guy we were teaching paused and there was a moment of silence after being asked a question. During that moment of silence I heard some music, and I thought that it was coming from the church gym so I went and closed the door. But the music was still playing, so I started looking around and realized that it was coming from my phone. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and went to pause the music and I saw that nothing was playing. But I did notice that we were still on the call with Prabakah and he had been on the call for about an hour. He was just super bored and started beat boxing. He wasn't that bad either. After a few minutes of trying to keep my chuckles to myself we asked Prabakah if he was still there. MC Prabakah then came in clutch with an awesome testimony.
This weeks spiritual thought comes from Luke 2:11 it says "11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." I don't think it was a coincidence that Jesus "The Bread of Life" was born in "The House of Bread" which is Bethlehem. Jehovah the God of the Old testament, that created the Earth with His hands and ruled with endless power, descended from His throne above only to be born into some of the most humble circumstances so He could save each of us Individually. God was with us 2,000 years ago and He is still with us today. I know He lives! Have a great week!
