Programs And Headaches

Hey everyone! Hope your week was good. Our friend Sam got baptized. The Spirit was amazing and after her baptism she came up to us and said that ever since she met us in the parking lot a month ago, she has been able to feel more peace and joy. She said that her circumstances haven't change at all but she feels so much more joy. Jesus Christ truly is the source of never ending happiness.

Before the baptism me and Elder Holt had to make the programs. We thought that it was going to be a quick 15 minutes in and out, but sadly due to my technologically challenged mind it took two and a half hours. Everytime I would try to insert a line it would throw everything out of alignment. After we finally got everything lined up the way we wanted, we couldn't figure out how to make it double sided so after 20 minutes of aimlessly clicking around we figured it out. After that, we printed it out and the picture we chose required a lot of ink. And I'm not throwing any shade on the church's printer but the printer couldn't handle it and it came out splotchy. So we then spent another 20 minutes looking for a good Jesus picture that didn't require a lot of ink. We finally figured everything out and I had temporary blindness from staring at a computer for so long. That blue light will get ya.

This weeks spiritual thought comes from the New Testament in the book of revelation. In Revelation 3:21 it says "21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." Jesus Christ not only saved us so we can be with Him, but He saved us so we could be like Him. He descended below all things so He could lift us to where He is. We need to overcome this world and the natural man through the atonement or Jesus Christ so we can sit with Hom in His throne. I know He lives! Have a great week!
