Miracles Have Not Ceased!

Hey everyone! Hope your week was good! Mine was pretty busy and flew by, but was good. We had transfers and I got a new companion named Elder Sheets. He is awesome and we've been having a great time. We were able to meet some cool people this week, including a family that said that they want to work towards being baptized! God is good!

On Friday we drove up to transfers, and we packed up Elders Sanders stuff in our Nissan Rogue. We also had to take another companionship to transfers as well, but they said that they can put most of his stuff in another car so we don't need that much room for the rest of his stuff. As we pulled up to their apartment I thought a garage sale was going on, and then I saw the Elders standing next to a huge pile of stuff and then a cold shiver ran down my spine. There was so much stuff. We had just a little room to spare because we thought that he put most of his stuff in the other car. That scary part is that he did put most of his stuff in the other car. There was just random stuff like a huge crate of ingredients, a snowman cookie jar that was still in the box, and a bag of huge rocks that literally just took up space. It's not like they were cool rocks either, I could have found cooler rocks walking down the sidewalk. Somehow we fit everything in the car and I had to sacrifice blood circulation to my legs to try and fit some boxes in the front seat with me. Thankfully I have once again recieved feeling in my legs.

This weeks spiritual thought comes from 1 Corinthians 15:55-57, it says "55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." I love this scripture because we came to this earth and we were in a pit that we can't get ourselves out of. A state where after we died that was it and there was no hope in seeing our loved ones again. But because of Jesus Christ descending from His throne divine, and suffering, dying, and rising from the grave, we are able to see those that we love again. Jesus takes away the sting of death and fills us with hope peace. He truly is the Christ and I know He lives! Have a great week?
