Red Hot Chili Peppers

Hey everyone! Hope your week was good! Another week bites the dust here in Orange County. We had zone conference and I was able to see some friends from the mission whice was pretty fun. I also got to help out with this big production that our stake is putting on to Celebrate Jesus's resurrection called "Risen". I played a vital role in the production as the guy that was security and who told people when they could take pictures. 


This week our friend Roland who was on date before but fell off, cane back from a long trip from Washington. He came back with a determination to finish what he started snd get baptized so we put him on date for this upcoming Saturday. He was super excited and we were too. I might have been a little too excited because there were some chili's on the table and Roland offered me some and since I was so excited and caught up in the moment I went all in and ate the whole thing in one bite. Roland then said "Oh wow, you ate the whole thing." After he said that, the adrenaline went away and reality kicked in. My eyes immediately started to water, and my nose started to run faster than Usain Bolt. I ran to the sink to cool of my mouth and posted up there for the next 45 minutes until I was legally able to drive again. I think I might start to pick up sign language because my tongue was incinerated. I'm just going to stick with the Hot n Spicy chicken sandwich from McDonalds.


This weeks spiritual thought comes from John 20:7 it says "7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself." This is the Apostles Peter and John as they go into the tomb to see that Jesus is risen. I love this scripture so much because it paints a picture for us on the reality of the Saviors resurrection and ultimate victory over death both physically and spiritually. I testify that the napkin was "by itself" and that on the third day He wasn't there. I know that He is Risen and the He lives today! Have a great week!

Hey everyone! This week went by quick. Some cool things happened this week where 80 marines showed up to church yesterday and it was such a cool experience to be able to teach so many of them. We also put our friend Francisco, whose a marine, on date for baptism for December 9th. Our friend Isaiah is still solid and is getting baptized this Saturday. He shared with me that sometimes he doesn't want to come to church but he goes anyways, and he feels this peace that he has never felt before and he said that he knows that this church is true.  We usually do our calls and text on the San Clemente Pier, because it right by our apartment, and there are a lot of people fishing off the pier. So one night we were at the pier doing some phone calls and all of a sudden there's this teenaged kid running up and down the pier being drug by his pole. Oh Glory

Hey everyone! Hope your week was good! This week was crazy for me. We took our recent convert Rick to the hospital because he has an infection in his arm and it blew up like a balloon. His arm looked like the Pillsbury dough boy. Also, we found some really cool people who have been able to find out the Book of Mormon is true by themselves! Also yesterday an old friend that hasn't met with the missionaries in a little bit, met with us yesterday and said that she wants to get baptized! Her name is Sherry and her date is October 21st. Overall good week. This week I went on an exchange into a bike area. It is actually pretty fun being on bikes because it's good to get your blood pumping. I also learned how to ride with no hands during the exchange. But we were riding along the street and I stopped to talk to these people and I stepped off my bike pedal to stable myself. Out Of Place

Hey everyone! Hope your week was great. This week was a blur for me. Halloween came and went pretty fast and now it has already almost been a week. This week we had a halloween party for the YSA ward, we had MLC the day after, and went on an exchange with some Elders that are on bikes but the members gave them Ebikes, so overall pretty good week. Like I said, we had a Halloween party with the YSA ward. We weren't going to dress up, but the Sisters also serving in the ward said that everyone was dressing up and you need to dress up or else you will be lame. So we went to every halloween store near us during our dinner hour frantically searching for a costume to buy. We went to TJ Maxx and found some onesies. I got a Grinch one and my compainion got a minion. We bought them and went over to the church.
