  Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great week! This week has been kinda crazy. We went on a couple exchanges, zone conference, sword fighting (again), and our temple day!  This week we may have made a mistake by bringing Brother Blye to one of our lessons. If you don't remember Brother Blye, he made an appearance on my email a couple months ago. We went to the lesson and they had to cancel so we decided to bring Brother Blye to street contact some people with us. I went and started talking to this girl by the dumpster and we were having a great conversation about God. She was standing by a wall and on the other side of the wall I see Brother Blye creeping up, like a lion about to pounce.All that went through my mind was "Oh boy". He then came up and right in the middle of our conversation, and peaked his head around the wall to start talking to her. He said "I have four questions for you.." Hey everyone! Hope your week was great! My week was pretty hectic. We got to help out with transporting the departing missionaries to the airport. And it was weird because I was pretty good friends with all of them. We also got to help transport the new missionaries which is always fun! My friend Christopher got baptized in Mission Viejo! Christopher is the greatest example of having unshaken faith in Jesus Christ even in tough times. We also had a random "hurricane" that turned out to be just a regular rainstorm. So we went on lockdown for 6 and a half hours for no reason. This week we went over to our recent convert, Rick's house. We knocked on the door and we heard some russeling in the housing and some very loud and not discreet shushes. He then opended the door very slowly and said "Oh it's just you!" Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great week! This week for me has gone by extremely fast. This week we got to sword fight with some guys in the park for our companionship study , and go on an exchange with one if the mandarin Elders and see plenty of miracles. Overall good week. On Thursday we had a lesson with our friend Ibrahim. He is 14 so we had one of our youth come with us to the lesson. We read some of the Book of Mormon with him and taught him why it is so important. At the end, we were in the middle of testifying of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon, when out of nowhere I hear a faint high pitched scream and then a squirrel comes flying out of a tree and pelts our youth in the chest. It was the most bizarre thing I have ever experienced. Our youth got knocked on his back and the wind knocked out of him. He then got up and wiped the the squirrel shape out lined in fur, off of his shirt. He was ok and we all started laughing. And for all you animal lovers out there the squ...

Hey everyone!!! Hope you all had a great week! This week was kinda a blur for me. This week we had a lesson with an area seventy who is in our ward, interviews with our mission president, me and my companion taught English class by ourselves , and we met Mallory from Studio C! Overall pretty good week. So almost every week we have a dinner with this group of old people in our ward. They are the best and it is always one of the highlights of my week. But for some reason the old people have a hard time allowing us to dish up our own food. So, one by one, we hand our plates to the host and she puts everything on our plates for us. She is like 80 so the pace that she is going at is similar to a sloth. By the time we get our food we need to zap it in the microwave. For the entire 10 minutes that it takes for the food to be dished out, it is complete silence because no one can hear anything.
