Hey everyone! So this week has been very crazy, and I keep pinching myself to make sure that it's real. My companion ended up going home, so keep him in your prayers. So by default I am now in a trio with Elder Burton and Elder Cole! We also cover three wards. We didn't plan anything out beforehand so I pretty much just showed up at their door like a lost puppy. We have been winging it this entire week because we have no clue how to handle all of this stuff. But it has been a BLAST! We have been going on campus with cornhole and schooling a bunch of college kids and then inviting them to YSA activities. We spend our nights playing battle bots with our remote control cars. We are children. During a street contact we were talking to this lady and her husband and all of a sudden Elder Burton rips one and acts like nothing happened. Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a great week. This week has been crazy, I said goodbye to Larson and stayed with the zone leaders for two days. It's been weird without elder Larson because I was with him for so long. Other than that it's just been regular missionary work. I went on an exchange with Elder Burton and we visited a member and she made us a five course meal pretty much. She made us two sandwiches each, oatmeal cookies, fruit, and gave us a drink. It was so nice of her. So we left and it was dumping outside. Like the kind of rain where there was a river going down the sidewalk. So we had just gotten in the car and all of a sudden we see her walking out... IN HER SOCKS! She was just trudging through all this water in her socks to give us cheese for our sandwiches. Hey everyone!! Sorry I didn't send out an email last week. I was pretty busy on the links for my birthday. Thanks for all the love I received on my birthday you all are the best! But yeah it has been raining for two straight weeks. California has been pulling our legs this entire time because there us no way they are in a drought haha. I'm not complaining because I actually have been able to use my rain jacket. We got transfer news and Elder Larson is getting transferred but I'm staying and District leading and training a new missionary! I'm so hyped to train! This week I went on an exchange with Elder Burton. It has been this continuing joke for the past three months that everytime I go into their area for an exchange we stop by this guy named Bill. Happy New Year everyone!!! Unfortunately I only got to 10:30 this year and didn't make it to midnight haha. But it has been a pretty eventful week. It rained!!!! I havent seen rain in a while haha it was so nice to put on a sweater and go walk around. We put our friend Amy on date for February 11th so that was pretty cool. We had some exchanges this week with some other Edlers which was super fun. I also had to speak yesterday. My one and only New Years resolution was to speak in church, so I guess I can just sit back and relax the rest of the year.  A funny story that happened this week was that we met an antichrist named Amil on the street. Beams of false doctrine started spewing out of his mouth and not going to lie it was testing my patience.
