Hey Everyone! Hope everything is going well and that you had a great week! This week we helped an old lady who was currently getting scammed block the scammer, had a great MLC meeting where I got so see some missionaries that I haven't seen in a while, and we helped a guy get into rehab. So overall a pretty good week in my book. This week we went over to Rick's (our recent convert who got attacked by a cactus a few weeks ago) and he was in a rush to get to work. He said that he didn't have enough time to shower but he needed to rinse off. He then said "You know what I'm going to do. I'm going to jump in the neighbors pool." Me and my companion just chuckled but all of a sudden he was outside. He then went out his back gate which is pretty much a briar patch, in bare feet, and walked all the way around to the neighbors back gate. He then tip toed to the pool like they do in Tom and Jerry, thinking that the neighbors are going to be able to hear his footstep...

Hey everyone! Hope your week went well. This week was pretty good for me, and it went really fast. But we went to B-dubs and it's always a good week when you get to go yo B-Dubs. This week I went on an exchange with some Elders in our zone. While we were on the exchange, we went to a park. We went and talked to these two ladies who were talking by the playground. We asked them if they wanted to hear a message about Jesus Christ and they said sure, so we told them our whole message about how Jesus Christ's church is on the earth today and how we can know through the Book of Mormon. It was awesome, the spirit was there and we were answering all of their questions. We then asked them if they would like to read the Book of Mormon and they said no, but I felt satified with that contact because we definitely planted a seed. It came time for us to leave and I was acting like they just missed the opportunity of a lifetime (because they did) and I started to turn around to walk away and...

Hey everyone!!!! Hope you all had a great week. I can't believe that it is already Monday again. Time is flying. this week was pretty good. I did a Murph with my mission president and I am still walking funny. We also had zone conference and I got to see a lot of missionaries that I haven't seen in a while. The work is going well and I love my ward.  This week we were tracting in this apartment complex and we saw one of our members named Brother Blye. He was walking his dog that looked like the rat from The Princess Bride. The guy hasn't groomed that thing since the depression. Brother Blye hands out 10 Book of Mormons a week and then comes to us at church and roasts us for not handing out as many as him, not in a joking way. So when I saw him coming around the corner, I tried to suck in my gut and hide behind the light pole. I'm pretty sure he picked up on our scent and like a bloodhound. Hey everyone! Sorry about now sending an email last week, my email was being really weird. So I will do a breif overview of the past couple weeks. Last Friday I went into the mission office to get some Book of Mormons and lo and behold the man, the myth, the legend, Ty Talbot was there to greet me haha. It was all by chance that I got to see him because I had no clue that he was going to be there. Shout out to Ty for being at the right place at the right time haha. Transfers also happened and I got a new companion named Elder Deering. My friend Jeffrey got Baptized last week as well and it was so amazing. He went from not really knowing who Jesus Christ was, to bearing a powerful testimony at his Baptism about his love for the Savior. I also went on an exchange with an Elder in the zone and we went and taught this guy who was sitting on his porch doing a crossword puzzle.
