Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a phenomenal week! Last Monday was insane haha. I am proud to announce that i am in Mission Viejo! It is so awesome here and I hope I will stay here for more than a month haha. Last monday we woke up and got everything packed in the car and we were feeling pretty good about ourselves. We were in the car listening to our favourite mission approved song (Grace by Louis Capaldi) and all of a sudden the dash lights on our car start going crazy. I thought it was just going to eject me into the ceiling of the parking gararge. It started saying engine malfunction and my companion, who was driving, was pushing the gas pedal all the way down and we were going max 10 mph. We took it to a nearby shop and they said we had to leave it over night. And in a blink of an eye we were left carless on the side of the road with our luggage like two 18 year old hitch hikers. Hey everyone! This last week of the transfer has been crazy. We made a few new friends which has been so fun! We also had the opportunity to go and play basketball this week at Laguna Beach. It was so fun! We played with this beach bum who had long blonde hair snd the whitest teeth you will ever see haha. We also got to go to the stance store in San Clemente. The owner gives us 50% off of everything for being missionaries. So I loaded up hahaha I got ace ventura socks, Darth Vader socks, Spiderman socks, and a sweat shirt and sweat pants.  A funny story that happened this week is when we were walking down this street and we met this lady who only spoke Spanish. We called the Spanish Elders and this lady just started to walk away from us. We started following her holding the phone out trying to have the Spanish elders talk to her. Let's just say she wasn't interested haha but u can only imagine what we looked like chasing this lady down the street holding out a phone hahaha.  O...

Hey eveyone! This week has been awesome! We went to a pumpkin patch with our district and it brought me back to the good old days. The pumpkin patch wasn't at a farm but at a mall parking lot haha and it was 80 degrees so it wasn't your average day at the patch. I won some stuffed animals and truly stuck it to the man by winning some prizes on the rigged carnival games. We also got the opportunity to go to The Cliff, which is a restaurant at Laguna Beach, with some of our friends that are awesome. It overlooks the beach and we got in right at sunset. That is now a core memory. We had a great week of work and on Saturday we celebrated. We went to a pizza place called Sgt Pepperoni's Pizza. It's a great place with great pizza and arcade games, but the best part of that place is....TV! Hey everyone!!! That last week went by pretty fast! We had the opportunity to go to the Newport Beach temple as a zone and it was so amazing! It's so beautiful! Me and my comp were driving there and it takes 30 minutes to get to the temple. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the freeway. My comp is driving and we are literally about to get on the freeway and he says "Man I didn't eat enough breakfast this morning. Do you mind if we go back to the apartment to get some almonds?" I chuckled thinking it was a joke and all of a sudden he's flipping a Uie! We went all the way back to the apartment got some almonds and we were on our way. We were definitely late. Thank goodness for the other elders who told them to wait for us.  We also had the opportunity to go to the Newport Beach pier which was so amazing! Hello everyone!!! I hope everyone had a great conference weekend because I know I did! We woke up on Saturday morning and you would have thought it was Christmas morning. All the elders in our zone went to the church and watched the Saturday session together on a big TV in the family History room. All the elders got to the church at the same time and we all were sprinting as fast as we could haha you would have thought we were on the last leg of the Amazing Race haha. We pulled in three couches in this tiny room which was really fun.  The work here has been full of doors slammed in our face and Questions about "that guy with ten wives". We had a guy threaten to release his golden doodle on us if we didn't get off of his porch. I was like bro what is it going to do cuddle me to death? There are also bashers which kind of touched on in my last email. The bashers are only from this one church called Compass Bible. They literally have classes on how to bash the mormon mission...
