You Don't Need To Wear A Mask To Be A Hero

Hey everyone! Hope everyones week was good. This week was crazy, we found another really cool person named Christine and she accepted baptism! She is getting baptized on October 28th. It has been so cool to see how it truly is the Lords work, and it will get done no matter who is doing it. We also knocked some doors with some 7 year olds that we played soccer with. They were our little padawons and we ended up teaching one the kids parents! This weeks story is about a hero that doesn't fly with some supernatural super powers, but with his eyebrows. And instead of his cape flapping in the wind, its his combover. That hero's name is Brother Blye. On Saturday our friend Christine showed up at 9am to church, thinking that the church service was that day. Luckily Brother Blye woke up and thought it was Sunday! And the hand of God made it so his phone wouldn't turn on, so he couldn't see what day it was. He got ready and headed to church. Christine was wondering where everyon...

Hey everyone!!! Hope everyone's week was good! This week was pretty good for us, we have been meeting some really cool people and we have had the opportunity to teach a lot of people. It is so cool how God guides people to truth that are actively seeking. This week we were knocking on doors and I was walking side by side with my companion to the next door and in california at this time of year there is a ton of Spiders everywhere for some reason. So I was walking with my head down and all of a sudden my companion yells "Spider" and grabs the back of my shirt. I thought there was a spider on my back so I started running forward to get away from the spider, but what my companion was trying to do was yank me back because I was about to walk into a spider on its web. So as I started running forward and I ran into the spider and its web, who was sitting at eye level and I felt the Spider hit my forhead. I started freaking out and was acting like a mad man trying to get the spi...

Hey everyone! Hope your week was good! This week was crazy for me. We took our recent convert Rick to the hospital because he has an infection in his arm and it blew up like a balloon. His arm looked like the Pillsbury dough boy. Also, we found some really cool people who have been able to find out the Book of Mormon is true by themselves! Also yesterday an old friend that hasn't met with the missionaries in a little bit, met with us yesterday and said that she wants to get baptized! Her name is Sherry and her date is October 21st. Overall good week. This week I went on an exchange into a bike area. It is actually pretty fun being on bikes because it's good to get your blood pumping. I also learned how to ride with no hands during the exchange. But we were riding along the street and I stopped to talk to these people and I stepped off my bike pedal to stable myself. What I quickly found out that it was a 6 inch drop off into some bushes. I have started to develope a habit of sa...

Ayo everyone! I hope you all had a great week, and happy Labor Day! This week was pretty good, we got to go to our mission leadership council meeting and I got to see a bunch of my old companions. We were able to find some pretty cool people as well. This week we street contacted this guy named Johnny and he seemed really interested. We set up a tour of our church building on Saturday. So on Saturday we get a member to come with us and Johnny comes to the church for a tour. We start in the chapel and we start talking about the Sacrament and how we take the bread and the water in remembrance of Jesus Christ. He then said "That actually reminds me of a story..." I was very intrigued to hear what he was going to say. He then went on to say "I have lived a very good life. I have made a lot of money, and I am friends with a lot of famous people." and that was it. I sat there for a second to hear how this applied, but nope he just felt like he needed to say that. It was n...
