Hey everyone! Hope your week was good. Our friend Sam got baptized. The Spirit was amazing and after her baptism she came up to us and said that ever since she met us in the parking lot a month ago, she has been able to feel more peace and joy. She said that her circumstances haven't change at all but she feels so much more joy. Jesus Christ truly is the source of never ending happiness.  Before the baptism me and Elder Holt had to make the programs. We thought that it was going to be a quick 15 minutes in and out, but sadly due to my technologically challenged mind it took two and a half hours. Everytime I would try to insert a line it would throw everything out of alignment. After we finally got everything lined up the way we wanted, we couldn't figure out how to make it double sided so after 20 minutes of aimlessly clicking around we figured it out. After that, we printed it out and the picture we chose required a lot of ink. And I'm not throwing any shade on the church...

Hey everyone! Can't believe it's Monday again. The weeks are flying by! It was pretty rainy this week and on one of the days I made the mistake of wearing an all cotton jacket, and it soaked up all the water like a sponge. I had to go short sleeve white shirt the rest of the day and I was so wet and cold. Let's just say I needed a Krispey Kreme warm glazed donut after that experience. We also have our friend Sam getting baptized this Saturday. She is really awesome, so please pray for Sam that she will be baptized. This week there wasn't anything too out of the ordinary except for one night where we were in the Wal-Mart parking lot and we invited this one guy to church and he cussed us out, and then we talked to the next person we saw and the same thing happened. We then went to the next person we saw, same thing happened. After that we went to one more person and the same thing happened. Hey everyone! This week was insanely fast! I can't believe it's already Monday again. This past week we had zone conference and Elder Mark A. Bragg of the seventy came and spoke to us. I turned twenty this week, which is crazy that I'm no longer a teenager. Other than that we lived in parking lots this week and found some pretty cool people. When in the parking lots you have a lot of rejection but when you find someone it's so fulfilling. One night me and Elder Holt were in a parking lot and invited this guy to church and he asked us what church we were from and we told him, then he said "Um yeah I'm good" in a snarky voice. We then asked him if he knew anyone that would want to come. He then said "With all do respect..." which apparently if you say that at the beginning of a sentence,that it means that you have free reign to say the most menacing comment and get away with it. Hey everyone! Hope this past week went well for all of you! My week was pretty good. We have been going to a lot of parking lots and talking to people. We've been seeing a lot of cool miracles and have put 4 people on date in the first contact. God is good! This week we went on an exchange and I went into another Elders area. He was driving. Before we got in the car he gave me a full disclosure that he hasn't driven in a while and it could be a little rough. And rough it was. I have never gripped the little handle above the door so tight in my life. I think I left finger indents on it. He was talking to me nonchalantly as he was meandering into different lanes and waiting to break until the very last minute. One time he didn't break in time and stopped in the middle of the intersection. I would compare it to Dumb and Dumber where Lloyd Christmas is driving Mary Swanson to the airport, and him running a red light and not paying attention. I feel for Mary. After that exchange...

Hey everyone! Happy New Year! This past week has been crazy. We spend most of our time street contacting in the parking lots of Oceanside. We had a crazy miracle where we were walking out of the gym in the morning and saw this guy and invited him to church. He said that he wanted to come and we ended up teaching him about being baptized into Jesus Christ's church. We put him on date for baptism for the 27th. It was super cool putting him on date in just regular clothes haha.  This week we were at the Petco parking lot of all places inviting people to church. I met this really cool couple named Ronni and Pedro. They said that they wanted to come to church, so I got their info and walked back to talk to Elder Holt.
